I am an Australian currently living in Queensland. I lived in England for three years up to December '07. Crafting runs in my family. Throughout my life I have tried cross-stitch, embroidery, tapestry, russian embroidery, clothes making, and now I have developed an interest in card-making. I've only been doing card-making since about June '07, but I found it is very rewarding. I have some intricate cross-stitch patterns that have taken me five years to complete, but I can make 5 cards in a day if I want.

I studied Robotic Engineering at University, but I've never worked as an Engineer. My absolute dream job would be to work for George Lucas at Industrial Light and Magic as a special effects artist, but I have doubts about that happening any time soon. A close second as a dream job would be to work at Weta digital, who made Lord of the Rings. I'll just have to wait for George or Peter Jackson (or Richard Taylor) to give me a call.
